Lo-Fi Reverb

Painting "a realistic view of the modern world while also adding magical elements, blurring the lines between fantasy and reality,  Caroline Guitar Company's Meteore is "magic realism" in pedal form.

What's real are overtones and regeneration taken from the glass, steel and tile of line 14 of the Paris Métro (the original inspiration of the meteore).

What's imagined is the overdrive.  Although only a select few reverbs can be overdriven, Lowering the fidelity  increases the intensity of the reverb and creates a surreal sonic landscape that was once the paris metro.

Another Caroline Winner

This is my fourth Caroline pedal and quite possibly my favorite. Pre-dirt, post-dirt, end-of-chain. It doesn't matter, there's no bad spot on the the board for this great reverb. Whether you like the icons or not, Météore is intuitive, highly versatile and a lot of fun to play. And the built-in gain stage is not to be overlooked. It provides just the right amount of edge and push to really complement the reverb. Météore is flat out great.

Excellent Gritty Reverb

Reverbs are hard to describe. This one is like playing guitar in the torso of a giant robot, but not one of those slick, Japanese giant robots with fins and big eyes. More like a Battletech-style giant robot. Less Sci-fi Titanium/Aluminum alloys and more Pittsburgh steelworks. Very easy to dive into, like all Caroline Pedals.

Great simulation

Bought for shoegaze, wasn't disappointed. Put it before a fuzz and it transforms into a wash of noise. Amongst the best.

Favorite plate

Was looking for a good plate reverb and I found this one to have features that made it original. Adds a nice amount of sustain and the regens can make deep dark textures.

Melancholic waves of intergalctic wonder

Blurring the lines of reverb and delay this has a great analog sound with much versatility. The repeats go on forever with just the right amount of depth. Itll launch you into outerspace, leaving any sense of normality back on earth. I really like how distorted the tails can get. I also love how you can separately adjust the in and out levels rather than just a basic mix nob. My only issue is that you cant adjust the predelay.
